I stand by the sea
And feel the breeze
With thoughts
Of what was

And left me behind
But the memories
The sweet memories linger
A new home now
And an African wife
People living easy
And getting by
The culture shifts
And the day comes to an end
But the beginning of tomorrow
Renews an old friend

A digital storm
Fotos in the backyard
Of the car and wood

Odd shapes
And baldheads
And fancy birds
A colourful sort

Where the fire and the beer are warm
